 Solutions (1-5):
1.    Total number of bikes of A type in  year 2004, 2006, 2007
= 10,000 + 20,000 + 25,000 = 55,000
Total number of bikes of B type in year 2002, 2004, 2005
= 20,000 + 35,000 + 55,000= 1,10,000
Ratio = 55,000 : 1,10,000 = 1:2

2.    B type in 2007 =15000
B type in all years together = 2,00,000
Percent = [15000 / 200000]*100 =7.5%

3.    Average= total number of bikes in all the years / total years
=[100000 / 6]=16667

4.    Number of bikes increasing from 2005 to 2006
= 20,000-5000= 15000
Percent rise in = [15000 / 5000] *100= 300%

5.    Average of A type bike =[100000 / 6]= 16667
 Average of B type bike = [200000/6]=33333
Difference= 33333-16667= 16666

Solutions (6-10):

6.    Number of cars sold of company B during march
= 2/5 of 25% of 18000 = 1800
Number of cars sold of company B during April
= 3/8 of 8% of 1800 = 540
Total number of cars sold of company B during April and March
= 1800 + 540 = 2340

7.    Required percentage =[ {6/11 of 22% of 18000} / {4/9 of 12% of 18000} ] *100 = 225%

8.    Required ratio = [ {2/5 of 25% of 18000} / {9/16 of 16% of 18000}] = 10/9

9.    Number of cars sold of company A during May
= 4/9 of 12% of 18000 = 960
Number of cars sold without discount in may
= 80% of 960 = 768

10.  Number of cars sold of company B during June
= 9/16 of 16% of 18000 = 1620
Total profit = 25000 *1620 = 405 lakhs
